We want you to be confident in your purchase from RIVAL USA. Please review the following Purchase & Return Policy before placing your order. By purchasing from RIVAL USA, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below, subject to applicable law.
1. Return Period
Return requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days of the carrier-recorded delivery date.
All returns require prior authorization from RIVAL USA. Products returned without a Return Authorization (RA) may be refused and returned to the sender.
Approval of a Return Authorization does not constitute approval of a refund. All returned products are subject to inspection after receipt.
2. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a customer-preference return, products must be:
- Unused and in resalable condition
- Free from damage, wear, scratches, drilling, cutting, modification, or other alteration
- Complete with all originally supplied hardware, brackets, accessories, manuals, and components
- Returned in the original packaging whenever reasonably possible
- Properly packaged to prevent damage during return transportation
Products that have been fully installed, used, modified, damaged, or show signs of installation or wear are not eligible for a customer-preference return.
Products for which installation was attempted but not completed are subject to Section 8 below.
3. Customer-Preference Returns
Returns resulting from a change of mind, ordering the wrong product, no longer needing the product, or other circumstances not caused by RIVAL USA are considered customer-preference returns.
For approved customer-preference returns:
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply depending on the condition of the product, packaging, completeness of the return, and any inspection or repackaging required.
- Products must meet all return eligibility requirements stated in this policy.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and verifying vehicle year, make, model, trim, engine, drivetrain, and other applicable fitment requirements before ordering.
4. Refunds
Refunds are issued only after the returned product has been received and inspected.
Receipt of a returned product by RIVAL USA or its warehouse does not constitute acceptance of the return or approval of a refund.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Products returned with missing hardware, brackets, accessories, manuals, or other originally supplied components may be refused or may be subject to deductions reflecting replacement costs.
Products damaged during return transportation as a result of inadequate packaging may be refused or may be subject to a reduced refund.
5. Incorrect Items or Confirmed Manufacturing Defects
If you receive an incorrect item, or if a reported product issue is determined by RIVAL USA to result from a manufacturing defect, please contact us promptly.
Depending on the circumstances, RIVAL USA may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement components, product replacement, repair, or return and refund where appropriate.
A customer's report or allegation of a manufacturing defect does not automatically qualify a product for return or refund. RIVAL USA may request photographs, videos, vehicle information, installation information, batch information, or other documentation reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
Do not return a product without receiving return instructions and authorization from RIVAL USA.
6. Off-Road Use & Impact Damage
RIVAL protection products are designed to provide protection to vehicle components, including during off-road use.
Scratches, gouges, dents, deformation, coating damage, or other damage resulting from contact with terrain, rocks, obstacles, collisions, or other impacts are considered use-related damage and do not, by themselves, constitute a manufacturing defect.
Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, improper installation, improper maintenance, modification, competition use, overloading, or use outside the product's intended application is not considered a manufacturing defect.
7. Vehicle Fitment & Modifications
Unless specifically stated otherwise on the applicable product page, product fitment is based on vehicles in factory configuration.
Compatibility with aftermarket accessories, suspension components, bumpers, recovery equipment, exhaust systems, crossmembers, skid plates, body modifications, previous collision repairs, or other third-party products or vehicle modifications is not guaranteed.
Customers are responsible for confirming that the product is appropriate for their specific vehicle configuration before installation.
8. Attempted Installation
We understand that some fitment concerns may only become apparent after installation has begun.
If installation was attempted but not completed, the product may still be considered for return provided that it remains in original, resalable condition and has not been drilled, cut, bent, modified, damaged, or otherwise altered.
Any product showing evidence of use, wear, installation damage, modification, or alteration may be deemed ineligible for return or may be subject to an additional deduction based on its condition.
If you encounter a fitment concern during installation, we strongly recommend stopping the installation and contacting RIVAL USA before modifying the product or vehicle.
9. Installation & Related Costs
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, RIVAL USA is not responsible for installation or removal labor, towing, storage, vehicle downtime, rental vehicles, loss of use, or other incidental expenses associated with the installation, removal, inspection, return, replacement, or warranty evaluation of a product.
Professional installation is recommended where indicated in the product instructions or product listing.
10. Cosmetic Imperfections
Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect product functionality may occur as a result of manufacturing, handling, packaging, or transportation.
Minor surface marks, coating variations, small scratches, tooling marks, or similar cosmetic conditions that do not affect the structural integrity, fitment, safety, or intended function of the product are not considered manufacturing defects.
This provision does not apply to significant shipping damage. Shipping damage must be reported in accordance with the applicable shipping damage procedures below.
11. Logos, Badges & Branding
The appearance, orientation, placement, style, color, material, or application method of RIVAL logos, badges, decals, stickers, engraving, or other branding elements may vary between production batches.
Minor differences in branding that do not affect the fitment, structural integrity, safety, or intended function of the product are considered cosmetic and do not constitute a manufacturing defect.
Where appropriate, RIVAL USA may offer a cosmetic correction or replacement branding element at its discretion.
12. Product Design Revisions
RIVAL products may be revised or updated over time as part of continuous product development.
Production versions may include changes to design, construction, hardware, finish, branding, or other details compared with earlier versions, photographs, videos, marketing materials, or products previously purchased.
Unless the difference materially affects advertised fitment, safety, or intended functionality, normal production revisions do not constitute a manufacturing defect.
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted solely because a newer design, revision, or cosmetic update is released after purchase.
13. Shipping Damage
Please inspect your shipment promptly after delivery.
If a parcel shipment arrives with visible damage, photograph the packaging and product before discarding any packaging materials and contact RIVAL USA as soon as reasonably possible.
Please retain the original packaging while the claim is being reviewed, as the carrier or RIVAL USA may require photographs or inspection.
Shipping damage claims are evaluated separately from customer-preference returns.
14. LTL / Freight Deliveries
Large products, including certain bumpers and oversized shipments, may be delivered by LTL freight.
Customers should inspect freight shipments before signing the delivery receipt whenever reasonably possible.
If significant damage is visible:
- Photograph the shipment and damaged packaging.
- Note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt.
- If the product appears substantially damaged, refuse the shipment where appropriate.
- Contact RIVAL USA promptly with photographs and shipment information.
Signing for visibly damaged freight without noting the damage may affect the ability to pursue a freight claim with the carrier.
Refusing an undamaged shipment because of a change of mind does not constitute an authorized return and may result in outbound, return, storage, redelivery, or other applicable freight charges being deducted from any refund for which the order otherwise qualifies.
15. Third-Party Products
Products manufactured by third-party brands and sold through RIVAL USA may be subject to the original manufacturer's warranty terms, procedures, limitations, and remedies.
Warranty claims involving third-party products may require evaluation or authorization by the original manufacturer.
Nothing in this section is intended to limit any rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
16. Order Cancellations
Please contact RIVAL USA as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order.
Orders may generally be cancelled before fulfillment begins. Once an order has been released to the warehouse, packed, palletized, shipped, or tendered to a carrier, cancellation may no longer be possible.
If shipment cannot be stopped, the order may instead be subject to the applicable return provisions of this policy.
Nothing in this section limits cancellation or refund rights that may apply under applicable law.
17. Return Authorization & Shipping
All returns must receive authorization from RIVAL USA before shipment.
Return instructions and the appropriate return location will be provided after authorization. Do not ship products to a RIVAL USA office, warehouse, or other address without receiving return instructions.
Customers are responsible for securely packaging customer-preference returns. RIVAL USA is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate return packaging.
18. Final Inspection
All returns are subject to final inspection.
RIVAL USA reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to refuse a customer-preference return or reduce the applicable refund when a returned product does not meet the conditions disclosed in this policy.
Examples include products that are used, damaged, incomplete, modified, improperly packaged, missing components, or otherwise not returned in the condition required by this policy.
19. Policy & Applicable Law
This policy applies to purchases made directly from RIVAL USA.
Products purchased through an authorized dealer, distributor, marketplace, or other third-party seller must generally be returned through the original seller and are subject to that seller's applicable return procedures.
This Purchase & Return Policy is subject to applicable federal, state, and local law. Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or restrict rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted.

I have been an off-road enthusiast for quite some time and have owned many trail-capable vehicles. I know that it is critical to be prepared, and that includes recovery options. These recovery points are made of 3/4" thick steel, and have a smooth contours to allow the use of soft shackles. The black mounting plates RIVAL manufactured with this kit are much more secure than the factory mounts. In short, this is a well thought out, well designed, and well built recovery option that checks all the boxes for off-road enthusiasts.

I have ordered the entire undercarriage Rival system. I have a lowered Ford Maverick XLT AWD Hybrid. It handles completely flat like a performance car which was my goal. Because it is a hybrid it has a lot of vulnerable components underneath the truck protected by thin cheap fiberboard. Because it is lowered these parts are more at risk. Rival’s durable components were the answer I was looking for. I currently have the engine and transmission front plate and I am happily waiting for the rest on back order! Sept 30th cannot come soon enough! I cannot wait to get them and protect my valued investment! These amazing Rival aluminum plates are a complete home run!

So this modification I had to pull out a second credit card because I wanted all of their skid plates. After I ordered, I was told that the front clip wasn’t available. It was back ordered. I don’t know why, but I called them and said I’ll just cancel that order and re-order it when it’s available I should’ve left it alone. Anyways, I received all five skid plates and proceeded to install them on a hot Saturday morning in my garage. Of course I throw down a moving blanket for a little bit of cushion and I drove the front of the truck up on some two by eights to give me a little chest room to remove the factory crap and install these quality plates was probably two hours you might notice in the video. I took a red paint marker and marked One Direction of the mounting bolt washer and plate just as an identifier if something should come loose cause honestly I didn’t torque them on. I use the half-inch ratchet and just put some pressure on it no Loctite unfortunately but I will check Next oil change. I love the plates. They look awesome under the truck. I know I’ve got protection for gas tank transfer case transmission and engine. I will watch for the radiator portion to become available and get that ASAP. Buy once cry once.
This thing is awesome. It fit like a glove. 10 minutes and I was done. I can’t wait for the catalytic converter cover to be in stock. Only thing I am going to change is the the hex head bolts to a security head bolt. I don’t want anyone stealing this sweet skid plate.

So glad that Rival made an engine skid plate for the AWD Maverick Hybrid! I installed this skid plate - they include the perfect hardware and good instructions - and now my oil changes will no longer involve dropping the cheap-y felt splash guard every time. The removable plate for the drain plug access is perfectly positioned for a normal oil change or for installing a Fumoto valve, Stahlbus valve, or something similar. Buy Rival and you won't be disappointed.
Love this skid plate to protect the catalytic converter. I don't do much offroading other than groomed dirt roads, but in Colorodo (especially Denver) this kind of protection becomes of must against Cat Theft. It's real. We lost a $2k Cat a couple of years ago and I started putting Cat protection on all vehicles that had adequate ground clearance and Cats than hung down in easy view for thieves to steal. My Maverick is totally secure thanks to Rival's skid plate!!

It's Great because I like how small the branding is. However, I would prefer no brand logo. Very similar the the OEM TRD pro skid plate. My only two descrepancies are the amount of washers need for each bolt. Seems like a lot. My second discrepancy is the cost. The product is already decently priced. However, I know where the company sources it's ore from. The cost could still be much less, and RIVAL would still make much profit.

The quality is great. It is relatively easy to instal with no car modifications needed. The only thing is that it takes the clearance of the car down with couple of inches compared to the oem skid plates. It is not critical though. I will buy it again if I need it. It is great product.

The product is very good. The attaching bolts were about a 1/4 inch too short, additional length was needed to pull the plate into position. This is likely due to minor spring back in the skid plate due to pressing (stamping) the material into shape. Otherwise the skid plate is excellent.
Works just as advertised. Rival has also been very responsive to a few questions I have had.
Love knowing my Rival skid plate are giving my GX550 OT+ the best protection possible when we're off road. Peace of mind and they look great
Fits perfectly. Hated the factory steel that came on this truck with the flimsy little bolts that stripped out.
Installed easily with front of vehicle on ramps. Riv-nuts posed no difficulty, all the holes lined up, and oil filter & drain access look good. I drive Forest Service roads often, have rubbed the front end a few times so sure appreciate the added protection.
Fantastic fit and finish. I almost hate to scratch them up, but I am looking forward to doing just that.
