Construction
Built from 1/4-in-thick aluminum alloy and includes a 3/16-in-thick steel winch mount. The complete assembly, including the aluminum shell, winch mount, and all bracketry, weighs approximately 180 lb. Net added weight to the vehicle is approximately 125 lb after removal of the factory bumper components and recovery points.

⚠️ Installation Note: The RIVAL Aluminum Bumper for 2024-2026 Ford Ranger Raptor requires no extensive modifications to your vehicle. While the bumper itself is easy to install, we recommend having someone knowledgeable in dealing with proximity and radar sensors perform the installation. These are safety items that, when installed properly, will function just as they did with the factory bumper of your Ford Ranger Raptor.

Parking Sensor Bezels
Our vehicle-specific 3D-printed bezels are designed to accommodate the Ford Ranger Raptor's factory parking sensors for an OEM-style fit and integration.
License Plate Mount
A Flip-Up-and-Hold License Plate Mount is included. It stays securely in the raised position for easy access to the winch. While most of our Texas-based content does not show it installed, you can find photos of the mount in our gallery.

Lights
The RIVAL bumper accepts most 3-inch auxiliary fog/driving lights. It is not compatible with factory fog lights due to RIVAL's signature light opening design. RIVAL Lights are plug-and-play with the factory fog light harness. DRL and blinker functions require additional wiring.
Lightbar
Compatible with most 20-inch bars, including RIGID lightbars. The housing can be set aside if a lightbar is not needed.
Spotlights
Compatible with most auxiliary spotlights, including Baja Designs. Pre-cut knockout provisions are included to accommodate auxiliary light installation.
Winch
Compatible with winches up to 12,000 lb, including WARN Winches.

I had the entire underbelly of my Ivy (2024 Lexus gx550 overtrail+) armored before my return trip to maze district doll house in canyonland national park to finish what we didn’t this past spring. No lift, original 8” clearance with full under armor (trail completed 😏). As you can see on the video, these skids worked hard and protected what it was designed to protect 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. The mechanic that installed and inspected these skids said I was lucky as front skid (it’s the bent and smacked one 🫣) took a huge stress (he said great design 👍) that for sure would have gotten damaged with original composite skids….so lucky.🍀 🤞

I ordered four skid plates. They all were perfect fits except for the transfer case one. (2025 Ford Ranger Fx4 Lariat). I saw a few other people also mentioned this. But with a slight modification, it’s on and looks great. Well made like Rival products. FYI Rival only posts 5 star reviews. I think this review should be a 4 due to the above issues but I didn't post.

Originally ordered the 3 piece skid plate set but was on the fence for the gas tank skid. Saw there was a discounted open box so I grabbed it thinking even if it was scratched or dinged it’s ok cause that’s going to eventually happen anyways. Received the delivery and the box looked liked it fell off of at least 5 UPS trucks! Surprisingly the skid plate was in pristine condition! I did the install by myself and was easier than I expected. Having the rear tires on ramps helped but thinking about it it might have been better to have the left side of the truck on the ramps? Highly recommend for the Ranger Raptor!

I have been an off-road enthusiast for quite some time and have owned many trail-capable vehicles. I know that it is critical to be prepared, and that includes recovery options. These recovery points are made of 3/4" thick steel, and have a smooth contours to allow the use of soft shackles. The black mounting plates RIVAL manufactured with this kit are much more secure than the factory mounts. In short, this is a well thought out, well designed, and well built recovery option that checks all the boxes for off-road enthusiasts.

I have ordered the entire undercarriage Rival system. I have a lowered Ford Maverick XLT AWD Hybrid. It handles completely flat like a performance car which was my goal. Because it is a hybrid it has a lot of vulnerable components underneath the truck protected by thin cheap fiberboard. Because it is lowered these parts are more at risk. Rival’s durable components were the answer I was looking for. I currently have the engine and transmission front plate and I am happily waiting for the rest on back order! Sept 30th cannot come soon enough! I cannot wait to get them and protect my valued investment! These amazing Rival aluminum plates are a complete home run!

So this modification I had to pull out a second credit card because I wanted all of their skid plates. After I ordered, I was told that the front clip wasn’t available. It was back ordered. I don’t know why, but I called them and said I’ll just cancel that order and re-order it when it’s available I should’ve left it alone. Anyways, I received all five skid plates and proceeded to install them on a hot Saturday morning in my garage. Of course I throw down a moving blanket for a little bit of cushion and I drove the front of the truck up on some two by eights to give me a little chest room to remove the factory crap and install these quality plates was probably two hours you might notice in the video. I took a red paint marker and marked One Direction of the mounting bolt washer and plate just as an identifier if something should come loose cause honestly I didn’t torque them on. I use the half-inch ratchet and just put some pressure on it no Loctite unfortunately but I will check Next oil change. I love the plates. They look awesome under the truck. I know I’ve got protection for gas tank transfer case transmission and engine. I will watch for the radiator portion to become available and get that ASAP. Buy once cry once.
